- The services contract aims to appoint a Managed Service Provider (MSP), who provides services related to: searching, contracting and monitoring external workers and who will deliver and implement a Vendor Management System (VMS).
The contractor (MSP) will be responsible forfor the search and contracting of external workers (temporary workers, freelancers, consultants, etc.) and the further required services during the contract phase. These services must be provided via an independent Vendor Management System (VMS). This system offers, among other things, a marketplacefor the publication of the profiles sought, but will also be responsible for the management and control of the timesheets, the management and follow-up of the contracts with the external workers, the invoicing of the external workers, etc. All this of course with strict compliance with the Belgianhe tax and social legislation.
The MSP is the "main contractor". The service provider that offers a total solution as an "MSP" either has its own Vendor Management System (VMS) or has entered into a partnership with a subcontractor for this purpose.
The VMS is a web-based application en is used throughout the entire process of deploying each external worker (publication on the marketplace, selection, contracting, time tracking and invoicing). The client's preference is that the VMS can continue to exist as a 'stand-alone' solution.
