- This assignment concerns the delivery and installation of a gas chromatography system with a Flame Ionization Detector and linked to a single quadrupol mass spectrometer (GC-FID/MS). The GC column is connected to the FID and MS via a Purged Splitter. The system will use hydrogen gas as carrier gas from a hydrogen generator. The system contains an XYZ Robot Autosampler that injects on the GC column via liquid injection of mainly microtiter plates and 2 ml of vials. The system is further equipped with accompanying software, PC and monitor, and a vacuum pump.
